Thanks to these great sponsors as we are poised and ready to set out on our most aggressive and lucrative schedule as we cross the “ The Show- Me State” with 26 stops as bowlers will be competing for over $100,000 in prize money, With no less than 8 dates offering more than $1000 to win. With over $15,000 set aside for the point fund with our champion possibly earning over $5,000 along with a payout that will see the top 20 in overall points receive a check as well as the top 8 in regional points.
Joining this year’s tour as a full points event will be our third annual Twin City Shootout Jan 26th, 27th the two day event will follow our traditional format that is run as two separate events combined into one with singles and doubles champions being crowned each day with $1,800 to win each day for singles and $750 for doubles as well as combined payout for bowlers who participate in both days action. I promised bowlers a bigger and better Twin City and we have lined up some great sponsors allowing us the opportunity to pay out over $21,000 for the weekend with a weekend sweep worth over $5,000 to one lucky bowler.
The event drawing the most attention to our schedule will be our first ever Team Shootout March 24th to be held @ St Charles Lanes with $4000 to win for this four person team event. Bowlers have asked for it and we hope to make this a traditional event and grow it into a true crown jewel event

With the addition of some great new sponsors as well as our continued relationships we are proud to offer such an exciting season to come with these great events along with the addition of a northern region and southern region for bowlers that do not like to travel outside there region this concept will offer them a chance to compete in some great events as well as earn points towards a regional point fund offering cash to the top bowlers in each region as well as a tour exemption for both the northern and southern region. All along bowlers will earn points for every event they compete in regardless of region towards the overall point fund to be distributed to the top 20 bowlers over all come our season finale in June. Bowlers will also earn bonus points for their finishing positions within each region.
With our fantastic inaugural season behind us SMBT has made a few changes to enhance bowlers experiences at our events in an effort to continue to grow our events we will still be using 6 games of qualifying for our regular events but qualifying will now be followed by a cut and then three rounds of match play with bonus pins to determine our step ladder finals. Also in an effort to keep things exciting our points format has been changed with bowlers now also earning bonus points for match play wins to go along with our traditional honor score bonus as well as squad leader along with season high average along with high series. Our points distribution has also been modified with a deeper distribution throughout the field to allow bowlers an equal chance to earn points even on a tuff day and entice bowlers to grind it out as every spot matter’s.
